Many CEA schools (like others around the world!) incorporate words and phrases like “Christ-centered” and “Kingdom service” into their mission statements. How can our learning communities be immersed in the gospel in a way that captivates our imaginations and empowers all of us—with head, heart, and hands—to participate in culture making for Kingdom service? We'll join Blind Bartimaeus’ encounter with Christ on the road. Perhaps the inspiration of a “Christ-centered moment” and its embodiment in actual examples of PBL projects might help us to pursue how to be even more “rooted and relevant” in our own schools, living in an ethos of abundance and creativity rather than scarcity and competition.
