In this session attendees will be introduced to a theological understanding of the concept of a practice. Drawing on wisdom from Alasdair MacIntyre, Craig Dykstra, Parker Palmer, and the presenter's own research, this session will offer a vision of teaching as an act of hospitality and of creating spaces (physical, emotional, relational, and intellectual) through common participation in life shaping Christian practices. We will explore the notion of Christian practices as "habitations of the Spirit".
